ICE Nigeria strength lies in research and advocacy, while its members have a better interactive and networking arrangements at the local and national level with stakeholders and groups.
ICE seeks to develop a nation-wide network well versed with issues on elections and develop cooperation, which would provide support for awareness creation on implementation of our programmes.
The overall objective is to maintain a comprehensive and up to date data base of the networks strategic partners, members and experts that the ICE has worked with in the past and those that will seek to join the ICE, for institutional memory and quick identification of the most strategic partners on various electoral issues.
Given the resource constraints, ICE seeks to have targeted training workshops for its members on electoral processes and other governance issues. The training seeks to enable the members carry out advocacy at the national and international level on electoral issues.
Our programmes is aimed at securing that our members obtains knowledge, skills and values relevant for electoral works, such as: Fact-based dialogue, public communication, transparency and accountability in governance processes, advocacy practices, networking, knowledge sharing, the sustainability of civil society, vulnerable groups, access to information, human rights based approach and others.
